Create your way through
Create Your Way Through is an invitation to use creativity as a way of moving through life — the beautiful seasons, the messy ones, and everything in between. Through painting, art journaling and making, we create space to process, express, play and find our way back to ourselves.
How liberating it is to choose wholeness over perfection
–Morgan Harper Nichols
Making beautiful messes & noticing the magic in between.
Hi, I’m Wilna, a creative soul happiest when making something. I’m an artist, photographer, designer, art journaler and memory keeper, and I’ve spent most of my life painting, drawing, designing, making beautiful marks and filling Moleskine journals cover to cover. I love yoga, good coffee, late-afternoon light, a great book, a pretty teapot, the Oilers, and noticing little things that make life feel beautiful. This space is where I share the things I make, the things I love, and, hopefully, pay it forward by sharing some of the art that has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life.
Come create your way through it with me.

These are the illustrations and stencils i used in my Cover Story Workshop. Hand-painted and digitally arranged, these unique illustrations are made to add a creative touch to your art projects.

My PNG illustrations are high-quality digital files that can be used in all sorts of creative ways. Use them for digital scrapbooking, art journaling, printing, collaging and your own creative projects, or import them into cutting machines like Silhouette Cameo and Cricut to create stencils, shapes and other handmade pieces. With a transparent background, PNG files are wonderfully versatile for both digital and physical projects.

This Starting Points Art Journal Class was created in 2016, and I’m excited to share it for free on YouTube now. When I uploaded it to YouTube, the content was already 10 years old, but in terms of starting with art journaling, it’s timeless.
